Senior Session Discounts

We are currently offering huge discounts on our 2011 senior sessions for a limited time. Discounts like this will not be offered again this season so take advantage of the special and book now. Email me at infocusstudioanddesign@yahoo.com to book your session today.

The following dates have been set up for the 2011 senior discounted sessions. The sessions are heavily discounted and will only be offered on the dates given below. Space will be limited so be sure to reserve your date as soon as possible to ensure that you will get the date that best suits you. We will not be offering any other dates unless there is a rain out designated by us.

Saturday, January 29th – Downtown Freeport – This will be for those who like that city feel, concrete, old buildings, etc. We will be scheduling in the afternoon and will let you know exact times at least a week ahead of time.

Saturday, February 12th- Studio- This will be for those who want some indoor pictures as well as outdoor sets outside the studio.

Saturday, February 26th- Out Under the Trees (Angleton)- A little more country with a rustic feel. We will be using old porches, swings, trees, fences and fields.

The total price for seniors sessions will be $270 tax included (regularly over $600) and will include:

Session Fee (each senior will have a minimum of 45 minutes)

A CD with a minimum of 30 high resolution images that have been fully retouched. You will also have a print release for the images so you can print when and where you choose. You can use them on announcements that you create, in yearbook ads or pages, etc.

You will also receive the 30 images in low resolution good for using on web pages and emails.

You will be allowed 3 clothing changes total.

20-5x7 prints (you choose the images for printing)

Add a Cap and Gown AND/OR Sports Session mini 30 minute session on Thursday, January 27th for $100 tax included (over $400 regularly) and receive at least 15 digital files with print rights and 15- 5x7 prints (one of each on the cd).

To reserve your spot contact me with the date you wish to reserve and I will send you payment information for making a $100 deposit to reserve your spot. The remaining $170 will be due at the session. In the event that you have to reschedule due to illness or otherwise, your deposit will be transferred to a regular session with regular studio pricing. The discounts above are only good for the dates provided.

Holiday Sessions & Specials

Christmas mini sessions are scheduled for December 4th. We will have our traditional Santa photos as shown in the image below. The session will be approximately 30 minutes in length. In that time, we will take pictures with "Santa" and without as well as some outside the studio if the weather permits.

Session Price is $150

This session will be for children only / Up to 3 siblings ($10 for each additional sibling)

Photographed in one outfit only

Session includes a $100 print credit and an additional 10% discount on orders over $300

Images will be placed in an online gallery where you will have 7 days to make your order.

The session total is due by November 21st. Sessions not paid for by the 21st will be canceled and rebooked.

Cancellations made within 24 hours will be credited to a regular studio session with regular studio pricing.

This is the month for boys! I photographed this baby's brother a little over a year ago. And... just like his older brother, this little guy didn't want to have any part of sleeping. But, he was all smiles. How adorable!

The Angleton Varsity and JV cheerleaders came to the studio early in August. I must say, the idea of having 16 cheerleaders at a time in the studio made me a little nervous. As it turned out, the girls were so much fun and kept me laughing the entire time. I forget sometimes how funny teenagers can be.

Baby "J" has grown so much since I photographed her almost a year ago. She has such a cute little personality but...definitely doesn't like bows! We were able to distract her enough to get a few.

Wow! How time does fly! This summer is just about over. I have been so busy that I haven't even stopped to update the blog. The new studio is buzzing with babies, families, weddings and a herd of adorable cheerleaders. I have had so much fun but...I am just a little sad that school is about to start again.

I can't believe we are already in July! It seems that each year is going by faster and faster than the year before. I have been terrible with maintaining the blog. I am determined to play catch up this week. I have so many new images that I have been wanting to post but just haven't found the time. So this week the blog will be bombarded with some of my favorite images of 2009 (in no certain order).

This family was so much fun to work with. Mom and I are on the same track when it comes to outfits (girly, girly). Their daughters are absolutely beautiful and a photographers dream...they LOVE having the picture taken!

I know how proud everyone must feel! The Danbury Panther baseball team has truly played their hearts out all season. I have sat on the edge of my seat during every game (thanks to Kathy for giving me inning updates). My daughter and I would do Panther cheers (not kidding) while we waited for the next inning update. I can't say how honored I am to know each and every one of the boys on the team. They are all such great kids and are truly the BEST! And...congratulations to Coach Davis for a job well done!

The In Between Years

It's not often that I get to work with teenagers in the middle school age range. I think we forget about the "In Between Years" and don't always capture it as we do babies and seniors.

This is such a wonderful stage and well worth capturing! I will soon be running a summer special just for this age.

As you can see, Madyson is absolutely beautiful. And...when you get to know her, you realize that she is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.

Amber & Matthew will be married in July. We traveled to the tropical location of Surfside for our session. The wind was gusting at 10-15 and it was a little steamy. Matthew was a trooper for sure, never complaining once. Amber, he's definitely a keeper!

I can't begin to tell you how much fun it was to work with Courtney and Chris. They were up for anything and are just the sweetest couple.
Their wedding was absolutely AMAZING! Every little detail was well crafted and planned out by Courtney's mother who has to be one of the most creative people I know.

The cakes were delicious to say the least and...the CANDY BAR! OMG! I found myself gravitating toward it more than I care to mention. Every child in the place was drooling over it.

We were lucky enough to have a session with the newlyweds the day after the wedding. Having Chris along was a blast, it's not often that you get a chance to work with the bride and groom in a private session.

I know I have said it before but... this is my all time favorite stage in the baby years! Babies are just a breeze to capture when they can't crawl or walk yet. At this stage, they just sit, smile and most times, drool. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stage!

First Session

Today was the first session held in the new studio. I was a little off since I am used to having everything right at my finger tips. Now that I have a real storage room, I am trying to keep everything in it's place. Not sure how long it will take me to adapt.

I couldn't think of a better way of breaking in the new studio than twin newborns. These little guys were both so laid back and just a joy to work with. Mom & dad were wonderful with them, never missing a beat. I guess with two you get double the practice.

Sweetheart Mini Sessions

This mini session is just for girls(a boy mini is soon to come). The session is for girls between the ages of 6 months (must be able to sit up) and 16. I will be using my newest backgrounds to capture images of your adorable sweetheart (View samples below).

Mini sessions include a 30 minute studio session for up to 2 children (siblings only). There is a $15 fee for each additional sibling.

The cost: $50 sitting fee
What you get: You will receive a complimentary 8x10 and 10% off your entire order.

If you would like to prepay to receive your images on high resolution CD (print when and where you wish) with your session fee included, the cost will be $200, this cannot be added after your session, you must prepay for this option.

The Dates: Mondays thru Thursdays for the entire month of February

After the session... Within 7 days, you will receive an online gallery with 30-40 of your best portraits to order from. You will have 10 days to place your order from your online gallery and receive the discount.

Here is the Dieter family and their pet crocodile. No seriously, Chris Dieter is the owner of Crocodile Encounter located here in Brazoria County. If you have never met Chris, he is one of the funniest people I know and, his wife is the sweetest!

What a beautiful wedding! The cake, the food and all of those extra special details made this wedding perfect. It was a sunny day with temperatures never rising over 80.
When I first met Mandy and Lee, I knew that it would be difficult to get Lee to smile. He is just one of those serious guys who isn't crazy about pictures. But, let me tell you, on his wedding day, he was all smiles.

I can't believe it's been almost a month since I posted on the blog. Hurricane Ike has surely set me way off track. As most of you can relate, we were without power for 11 grueling days. No internet, no computer, no phone, no good take out food...
I did get to spend some quality time with my family so, it was actually great except for the fact that we had no air conditioning.

So, here's an attempt to catch up on the blog.

If you remember my post a while back about the little princess who was getting ready to compete in the state pageant, well...she won!
I am so excited for her. Congratulations Little Miss Texas, not sure what her actual title is but, I do know that she will be representing Texas at Nationals in Florida Thanksgiving Weekend where all 52 States will compete for the National Title. Wow, how exciting!

Newborn Session

Even though baby J was able to fight off our efforts to get him to sleep, we were able to do so much with him. Thanks, to Mom & Dad and his wonderful grandmas who were so patient. They made it very easy to work with an awake newborn.

Sleepy Baby

What a beautiful baby boy. I just love sleepy newborns who stay awake just long enough to get a few images with their eyes open. It took just a minute to get him to sleep, once he was, I was able to do plenty with him.

What a blessing it must be when you can get all of your grandchildren together for photos. Mimi brought her little sweethearts in for a session while she had them together. They were so much fun to work with. I had so much fun watching one of the 8 year olds try to figure out how to smile with his new braces. So adorable!

Congratulations to Amber & Matt! They were married last Saturday here in Danbury. The wedding was beautiful. I have truly enjoyed getting to know them, they are a wonderful couple.

Fairy Mini Session

It's time for our "Fairy Friend" mini sessions. Each session will last 20-25 minutes. You will get to choose one image from 10 proofs that you would like to be made up fairy style.

Cost of the session is $60
The session fee includes a custom 8x10 fairy photo
and 20% off additional prints of that image.
The fee covers one individual, each individual included in the same image will be an additional $20.
If you want more than one pose, there is an additional $20 creation fee for extra poses chosen.

Call early to schedule we will only offer a limited number of sessions. Fairy sessions will run through August 1st.

With children, the little details can be so sweet. There is nothing cuter than little toes, fingers or big beautiful eyelashes. Even a child looking away can make a beautiful image. Next time you get the camera out to capture some images of your beautiful children, look for those little details that make him or her so special.

I absolutely love working with twins. This is my seventh twin session within the past year. This sweet duo were in for their nine month session. They have grown so much! I can't wait to see them make a huge birthday cake mess when they turn 1.

Princess

What an adorable little princess! Little Miss J will be competing in an upcoming pageant and is sure to do well. She is absolutely a photographers dream. After 45 minutes, most kids are worn out and done with smiling. Our session lasted 90 minutes and she was ready for more. She actually wore me out! All kidding aside, she is absolutely a beautiful girl and has a personality to match.

Senior Models 2009

I have recently started sessions for my senior models for 2009.
Members of our senior model program receive free sessions, discounts, and other opportunities to promote the studio as In Focus Studio & Design representatives.
The responsibilities include being photographed by our studio and then promoting the studio by sharing your senior portraits with your friends, providing them with information about the studio, and encouraging them to choose In Focus Studio & Design for their senior portraits. In Focus Studio senior models are compensated with free sessions and referral credits that apply toward their senior portraits.

Our senior models receive the following benefits:
*No session fee
* A spiral proof book with your session proofs, yours to keep.
* Web quality images to use on your personal web pages.
* You’ll get 50 custom designed cards with your images from your session to pass out to all your friends.
* $20 print credit for every referral.
*Custom announcements created at actual cost if you purchase before March 1, 2009 and 20% off if after March 1, 2009.

You might have seen these two before, they were in recently for a brother sister session. They were back recently to take pictures together in their All Star uniforms. They are so easy to work with and, I just love the personalities.

A Double Blessing...

I was so giddy when this mother called to schedule her newborn twins session. I have several sets of twins that I regularly photograph and, they are always a lot of fun. This was a rare occasion, they were both quiet and calm. It is usually... one is happy, one is not, one is crying, one is not, one is hungry, and one is not. Even more rare, mom and dad left clean and dry. Lucky, for sure!

I Can Finally Share These!!!!

I have wanted to share these for so long! I've realized that bridal sessions are bitter sweet, so much fun but...have to keep it a secret. Now that I can share them, I can't even decide which ones are my favorites. As you can see, Kristi is gorgeous and so sweet. She was so easy to work with and willing to let me try anything, even standing near a creepy little cemetery. I have had such a good time getting to know her and Chad.

This wedding was absolutely amazing! I have to give kudos to all of those "behind the scene" people who made this event great.
Lisa Ferguson did an awesome job as the coordinator of the event and kept everything running smoothly all night. The food was YUMMY again! Jack and Jackie Green never cease to amaze me with their delicious dishes and...they never miss a beat. They can serve a hungry crowd lightning fast.
The beautiful flowers were created by Elaine Winn, of Nature's Best, who added an elegant touch to the affair. The cake was fabulous! I get to taste a lot of cakes, I know, not a good thing when you are trying to watch your figure but, Annette Cook just can't be beat. No kidding, I had two pieces (well, three if you count the groom's cake). Delicious!
And a special thanks to my friend Luz Platzer of San Antonio who helped me photograph the event. It's always fun to work with someone as picky as myself.

Sometimes, children are so funny. I recently photographed my daughter and a few other children who attend her daycare in an outdoor session. The children loved the little donkey that lives at this location. As I am photographing my daughter petting this cute donkey, I hear her ask him, "Do you know Shrek?" Children are so funny!

What a beautiful wedding! Jerod & Natalie were married last week in Danbury. The wedding was fabulous and the food was delicious as usual. The bridal party was so much fun to work with. Occasionally, I laughed so hard that it was difficult to hold my camera steady. Everyone who knows Natalie knows that she is absolutely a sweetheart. Even though I don't know Jerod all that well, he has to be a great guy, he was so sweet, even when I mistakenly thought he was an usher.
